Coach Glenn Pearson led the
Cards to the schools first district championship. They would defeat Waller
in bi-district 44-40 and lose to Waco Midway 65-51 in the Regional
Tournament. |

In Pearson’s final season,
BC won district in its first year in 3A, but lost in the first round to
Brenham 52-47. |

Under Richard Briggs, the Cards made the
playoffs for the first time in 37 years. They lost to H-J in
bi-district 43-41. |
Girls Playoff History in the 90’s

1990 |
Coach Tom Woolley’s
Cardinals finished second in district at 7-3. They lost to C.E. King 53-51
in bi-district and finished 22-10. |

Tied Silsbee for
second in district and beat them in a playoff. Lost to CE King in
bi-district 72-58 to finish 22-10. |

1992 |
Lost to Dickinson
in bi-district 66-58 after finishing second in district. Overall the Cards
were 25-8. |

Won district at
10-0. Lost to Silsbee in bi-district. Finished 25-7. |

Won district at
10-0. Lost to Cleveland in bi-dist. Finished 21-8. |

Tied WOS for first
at 9-1 and won district in a playoff. Defeated New Caney 58-52 in bi-dist.
and lost to Oak Ridge in Area 62-41. Finished 27-7. |

Finished first in
district at 8-2. Beat Livingston in bi-dist. and lost to O.Ridge in Area
57-51. Finished 16-16. |
