The Kotoyama restaurant on MacArthur Drive failed its latest Orange County health inspection because of an infestation of German roaches. Health Inspector James Scales gave the business a 0 score. He reports that the restaurant is closed between lunch and dinner hours. Scales went to Kotoyama the afternoon of Sept. 24 and found roaches on the floor near the grill, crawling on the wall near the dishwasher and several were inside the oven. A pest management company arrived that afternoon and treated the restaurant, dining room and empty spaces in the shopping center next to the restaurant. Pest manage was scheduled to return.
